Attendance Policy

Last updated: January 2026. Maplecrest Living is independently owned and operated by Laxmi Tamang as a Sole Trader in the United Kingdom.

1. Why attendance matters

Consistent attendance is one of the biggest single predictors of academic improvement. This policy is designed to protect the student's progress and to make expectations clear from day one.

2. Session times

Programmes with multiple sessions are typically delivered on a recurring weekly slot agreed at the start. The slot is protected in my diary for the duration of the programme.

3. Lateness

Sessions start at the agreed time. If a student joins late, the session will still end at the scheduled time so that following commitments are not affected.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellations with 24 hours' notice or more can be rescheduled at no cost, subject to availability.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be treated as delivered.

Sessions I need to cancel will always be rescheduled or refunded, at your preference.

5. Illness

If a student is unwell, please cancel with as much notice as possible. I will always try to be flexible with genuine short-notice illness.

6. Persistent non-attendance

Persistent non-attendance without notice may result in the programme being suspended and the remaining balance handled in line with the Refund Policy.

7. Contact
